A Brief Report on Industrial Visit at I-Medita, Pune[Cisco Registered Partner] dated 30 July 2016
Recently, an Industrial Visit was conducted at I-Medita, Pune Cisco Networking Labs by students of ANANTRAO PAWAR COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND REASEARCH PARVATI PUNEon July 30, 2016. Over 50 students of Computer Science and IT Department visited I-Medita Networking Labs and were introduced to the world of Networking .The motto of this Industrial visit was to give practical insights about Networking Industry and to discuss how they can start their high flying careers in the Networking domain.I-Medita has Pune’s Biggest Cisco Networking Labs which consist of large number of Racks consisting Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls etc. Students visited these labs and interacted with CCIE experts. During this Industrial Visit, details about Networking Devices and their industrial practices were
also discussed amongst students.The visit was initiated by Mr. Sugandh and Mr. Sudanshu CCCIE VOICE #41212- an Expert in VoIP Networking Domain. He shared deep practical insights about the role of networking in today’s industries, the functionalities of networking devices like Routers, Switches, firewalls etc. in communication and the working of Data Centers, etc. Demonstration on Real time Networks was also shown to students.
Here are some Key Highlights of industrials Visit:-
1) Made Students Aware with Industry Practices.
2) Role of Network Engineers in companies like Airtel, Vodafone, HCL, Accenture, etc.
3) Increase Practical Awareness of Networking and Big Data Hadoop Industrial sectors among students.
4) Acquaint students with interesting facts and breath-taking innovations in Networking, Big Data - Hadoop and other technologies.
5) Information shared on the key certifications involved in Networking and their importance in industry.
6) Explanation of how all the networking devices and Data Centers Works and their role in Industry.
Few Hand on Practicals were also shown to students.
